SAVAK is thrilled to celebrate the release of their 5th LP "Human Error / Human Delight" at Littlefield with special guests Chris Brokaw and Upper Wilds on Thursday April 7th, 2022. Hopped up on a steady diet of everything, SAVAK is a Brooklyn-based post-punk band formed in 2015 by singers/guitarists/songwriters Sohrab Habibion (Obits, Edsel) and Michael Jaworski (The Cops). Drummer Matt Schulz (Holy Fuck, Enon) has been the other constant member over the course of 5 LPs, an EP, and multiple 7" singles. To round out their recordings and live performances, SAVAK has welcomed a variety of bass players and other musician-friends on horns, strings and keyboards. The group is releasing their 5th LP "Human Error / Human Delight" on April 15th, 2022 via their newly minted label, Peculiar Works Music. SAVAK will be joined by Matt Hunter (New Radiant Storm King, Silver Jews) on bass and Jeff Gensterblum (Small Brown Bike, Able Baker Fox) on drums for tour dates supporting the new record.
