This is the first free House of Vans show of the summer and it's gonna be dope as hell.

6. The xx play Forest Hills Stadium on Friday, May 19th / Saturday, May 20th.

The best band for a store to blast in their fitting rooms, basically.

Both of these xx shows are sold-out. Suxx.

If you don't already have tickets you can try getting some here or you can console yourself by shopping for some new pants.

7. Thurston Moore Group play Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday, May 20th.

Once I found the first two Sonic Youth albums on vinyl, in perfect condition, just sitting out on the street.

Someone was like "don't need these!"

I took them before the garbage guy could.

Thank you for listening to my true story.

8. The Make-Up play The Bell House on Saturday, May 20 / Sunday, May 21th.

Sunday's show is not..........yet.

9. Red Bull Music Academy / Sacred Bones Birthday Jam at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse (tickets).

The excellent record label Sacred Bones celebrates their 10 year anniversary of ruling with a stacked lineup of artists playing down by the river in Greenpoint.
