((The Dogs)) Band Profile and Upcoming New York City Concerts - Oh My Rockness

I just came across this Chicago (or now, Wisconsin) band. I'd never heard of them before. But as I was listening to this jam of theirs called "Dance More" I was thinking, "Hey, this song is pretty good." And that, my friends, is the most interesting story you'll read all day.

Anyway, The Dogs are made up of members from all over the place (Minneapolis, Washington, and even Norway) that converged in Chicago (or Wisconsin) to bust out some short and snappy tunes that I would play loud and with the top down... if I had a convertible. They write extremely poppy music that reminds me of Jukebox the Ghost meets Ben Folds meets that new band The Front Bottoms we recently wrote about. It's super accessible and optimistic stuff. Happy pop.

Their best song is that "Dance More" jam. So listen to that first and I'll bet you'll want to hear more from The Dogs. But I won't bet money, because I don’t even know you. You could be a grafter or a hustler. Or worse, a hipster grifter.
