((On! Air! Library!)) Band Profile and Upcoming New York City Concerts - Oh My Rockness

NYC's hypnotically moody experimental trio On!Air!Library! use punctuation better than any band out there. Similar in feel and style to their subdued labelmates, Calla, OAL blends guitars, heavy programming, keyboards and strings to create highly textured, epic songs. Twin sisters Claudia and Alley Deheza share vocal duties with Philip Wan allowing OAL to be more diverse than most bands of the genre.

Their strong musicianship has garnered them critical acclaim as well as friends in high places. OAL's 2004 self-titled album gets support from Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino and Liars producer Steve Rivette. As the band grows, rumor has it that they may soon change their name to On:Air:Library:. They're getting too mature for all that screaming.
