((Cheeseburger)) Band Profile and Upcoming New York City Concerts - Oh My Rockness
Cheeseburger
Brooklyn's Cheeseburger is a raucous trio that play good old fashioned grimy rock 'n' roll. Think of them as the new version of the old rock gods like Iggy and The Stooges and Danzig. Though they're from New York, Cheeseburger don't sound like city music to me.
I could totally see myself blasting these classic riffs from the radio of my pick-up truck, as I stood in an arid and deserted field somewhere, shooting stacks of empty beer cans off my truck's hood. Maybe I'd also have a toothpick in my mouth and a party-fro, too, who can say for sure?
The band's debut album was just released by Kemado Records (Vietnam, Danava, Dungen) and that new exposure should be converting many more drunk fans to their corner very soon.
