((Big Bliss)) Band Profile and Upcoming New York City Concerts - Oh My Rockness

Written by Patrick McNamara

Big Bliss is a band from Brooklyn that make melodic post punk.

Think sweet jingle jangle over jagged lines.

(You may also think early The Cure meets "I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders" era The National if you want.)

Since forming circa 2015 A.D. the trio has played a BUNCH of NYC area shows at mostly DIY spaces and all that practice practice practice hasn't gotten them to Carnegie Hall (yet) but it has made them good good good and you should go see them at your earliest convenience.

Here's the band's most recent jam. If you like it (spoiler: you will) check out their excellent EP below too.

The Players:

Tim Race (guitar / vocals)

Cory Race (drums - hey, Tim's brother was also in Kent, OH band Party of Helicopters which in this music blobber's humble opinion was one of the most underrated bands of the '00s and I mean that, man, please believe it.....but this is a conversation for another time probably)

Wallace May (bass / vocals)
