The following shows in NYC this weekend are good.

Thank u in advance for reading this good feature.

Amen?

Thursday - June 16, 2016 A.D.

Blonde Redhead (see: a good band since circa forever) playing a show (see: free) in Red Hook's Coffey Park. I will see you there because FREE BLONDE REDHEAD SHOW IN A PARK. The best news? It's just two subways and three bus rides away from where you live, probably!

Gates is a good band. So it's a good thing they're playing tonight (at the PlayStation Theater which used to be called Best Buy Theater which will soon become Taco Bell Music Hall probably). Anywho, Gates just released a brand new album and guess what? It's GOOD. Blast it now and I'm confident you'll agree with my personal opinion concerning this and we'll soon become fast friends.

Freind* opens the actoin at Shae Staduim tonight. Freind is a good band so that's pretty graet.

Other Thursday shows = Eaters at Trans-Pecos + Heliotropes at Palisades + Motion City Soundtrack at Irving Plaza + Rufus Wainwright at Carnegie Hall

Friday - June 17, 2016 A.D.

At the Drive-In (they're back……... again) play Terminal 5 and this band has a commanding relationship with being good sometimes.

Sean Nicholas Savage plays Secret Project Robot. He's good. Real good.

"Wow! Now that's what I call good eccentro pop!" - Oh My Rockness

You want to go up to Camp Lakota in Wurtsboro, NY (it's just 85.2 miles away!) and see Porches (good) and Delicate Steve (good) and Buke and Gass (good) a bunch of other bands (probably good) play today through the weekend because you totally can! If I had a car I would go. But I don't. So I won't. But I would. But to be clear. I'm not.

Stockholm post ____ proggers Dungen play Bowery Ballroom. Hobbits get in free. Detta är ett bra band!*

(*Ursäkter om min svenska är inte så bra jag rökte för mycket ogräs i college och kunde inte slutföra mitt svenska examen vid Google Translator universitet)

Other Friday shows = Moving Units at Berlin + Nosaj Thing at Market Hotel

Saturday - June 18, 2016 A.D.

The Cure play Madison Square Garden (and tomorrow too). They used to be a good band. A real good band. I don't know if they still are. I lost track of their new stuff about a hundred years ago. Maybe they're still good. You never know. Hope this has been informative and helpful.

Please note: this is my favorite Cure song - it's so good.

Kamasi Washington plays Central Park (it's a SummerStage thang) and it's going to be EPIC. I'd pay big $ to see this show. I'm not going to. Because it's free! But I would, man….. I would. RIYL: John Coltrane and/or pizza

Burger Records has a beach bash in Coney Island with Andrew W.K. and Fucked Up and GZA and Mr. Twin Sister and Har Mar Superstar and more. Also, not related or anything but HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY, NATHAN'S. Skinless hot dogs must die!

Disclosure (I heard one of their jams blasting in Bed, Bath & Beyond once and a regular day out shopping for duvets turned real sexy real fast) play Forest Hills Stadium and if they play their best game they just might win this thing. Many of you have saved this show. None of you would be interested in a gently used duvet, would you?

Violent Femmes (good?) play a free show in Prospect Park. How many times do you think these bros have played "Blister in the Sun?" I bet everything I own the answer is < than ___.

The 1975 play Seaside Heights, NJ. Not good.

Please note: I have nothing more to add.

Other Saturday shows = MoMA Warm Up at PS 1

Sunday - June 19, 2016 A.D.

Rainer Maria play Union Pool. Good.

Please note: this is my favorite Rainer Maria album.

Turnover and Sports play Market Hotel. Good. Good.

Please note: this is one of my favorite albums of 2015.

Other Sunday shows = The Cure at MSG + Xeno & Oaklander roller skating party in Prospect Park + Operator Music Band at Silent Barn
