Thursday - February 18, 2016 A.D.

It's Summer is Forever II at Terminal 5 with Best Coast (good band) + Wavves (good band) + Cherry Glazerr (good band). I don't really remember Summer is Forever I but since it's eternal I'm probably just still living it.

Eleanor Friedberger plays Bowery Ballroom. She's good. Now please pay attention to this bold statement I'm about to make and hold me to it. 2017 is the year Fiery Furnaces get back together. BET.*

David Dondero + Lauren Denitzio from Worriers + someone being billed as "Clarice Starling" play "Gender is Over (If You Want It): 1 Year Birthday Benefit for Immigrant Defense Project" at Silent Barn. Chicago's* Disappears play Baby's All Right and this super dope band swirls and blasts with the goddamn best of them.

*Go White Sox. (pitchers and catchers have already reported to spring training CAN U BELIEVE IT)

Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Lower Dens play Irving Plaza again tonight. I know I already mentioned this but I'm using the opportunity to remind you that you can enter to free win tickets to this show (or Friday's). Again, it's totally random who wins. Again, I hope it's you.

It's "Where's The Band" emo night at The Bell House w/ members of Saves the Day, The Get Up Kids, Alkaline Trio, Hot Rod Circuit and Bayside leading the crowd in singalong songs with lyrics stolen straight from the pages of their 20+ year old diaries (or something like that anyway I didn't research this one too much I just blob here but I do love emo always and forever).
