((Architecture)) Band Profile and Upcoming New York City Concerts - Oh My Rockness

Chicago's Architecture are a lovely trio of three ladies (member Rebecca Scott is also in that band Panda Riot) who make slow, swirl-y, hazy, pretty, electronic-y, glockenspiel-y, guitar-y, tambourine-y pop. Of course, you could also just call this dream pop if you're the type-y that's not really into made-up-y adjectives. But I happen to like made-up-y adjectives.

Anyway, this band has a nice and chill vibe. This music makes me want to have a pool party and float around with some folks. But first I'd have to get a pool. And a house. And friends. And happiness. Hmmm. Maybe I'll just listen to this in the shower while drinking my beer. That seems more manageable. Either way, I'm chilling out to this.

If you like Au Revoir Simone or Erika Spring, you should definitely get into Architecture's jams. And check out the band's new debut EP When We Were Young. It's very dream-y.
