Ghostland Observatory is an Austin duo that's all about the beats. This is the stuff guys who wear eyeliner on Friday nights want to listen to. Think of their electro-rock as a more straightforward version of The Rapture or a less aggressive Death From Above 1979. Now imagine Atari sounds in the background. In other words, think the 80s. They even rock that Inspector Gadget voice distorter. You know, the way it sounds when you sing into an electric fan? What that's thing called? Anyway, you should have a pretty good idea what Ghostland Observatory is all about. The wheel isn't being reinvented here... but at least it goes pretty fast.
